As a new mom, you have to take care of yourself and your baby too. There are several things that you must keep in mind if you want that you and your baby remain healthy and active. Below are some of them:
- Try to take a nap when your baby falls asleep. This will help you both and your baby too.
- Make time for yourself. Take out at least 20 minutes for relaxation where you can read a book or listen to music.
- Try to take shower on daily basis.
- Plenty of exercises and fresh air is needed for your health. Go at least half an hour a day in the open sky and move around there.
- Try to schedule your time in order to have sound health for you and your baby both.
Calling a Doctor
Some situations occur when there is a need to call the doctor. Below are the few situations that may occur and you will need a doctor on an emergency basis. Call a doctor if:
- You are having a fever of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or above that.
- You are passing large clots or your pads are requiring half hour to fill only. Or if you see some puss in the vaginal discharge. In such cases, you will have to call.
- The incision because of the C section becomes red, swollen or the puss is coming out of it.
